Check out the “back of house” at Frita Batidos and you will wonder where your money went. Oscar, Erasmo, Carlos, and the rest of the undocumented workers who prepared your food are not only illegal, they are illegally paid less than minimum wage–$4.00 an hour. If you want to continue subsidizing 21st century slavery, by all means eat at Frita Batidos and add Sabor Latino to your itinerary as well.

We’ll see. I think it will find its niche in the social media landscape. One advantage it has is that G+ items will show up in Google searches.

FYI – I came here by searching “Blogger VS Google+.”

I think the reason Google+ gets more comments right now is due to it’s perceived “newness.” It’s the latest thing. It will die down.

The water treatment plant is a nice coincidence, but Water Hill is named principally for its streets Spring, Fountain, and Brooks, and a legacy of streams, now directed underground, that once ran down it.

Zingerman’s has the best taste for the $. There is really no comparison. Some people complain about the cost, and I too remember getting great food for very little in the past, but right now, in a world where people can spend an unbelievable amount on a “gourmet” dinner, Zingermans provides the absolute best at a reasonable price.
